A junior at Penn State University, I am majoring in Advertising and minoring in Business and Entrepreneurship. I have always loved all things creative.
I took photojournalism to learn more about photography, viewing it as another creative challenge. Even though it is not rocket science, juggling the camera settings while trying to capture candid pictures of people around me was harder than I thought. To be honest, I am still not sure if I got the hang of it. I may not always know the perfect aperture or shutter speed settings, but I did learn how to look at life in a different way. I learned to be more observant, more keen to everyday emotions that I would never have noticed before. I had the chance to interview people I would never have met if I wasn't working on a photo assignment, and during these interviews I had amazing and inspiring conversations that will stay with me forever.
